I've never beaten a shmup before but I've definitely listened to the soundtrack for this all the way through several times.

Don't forget to shoot at the bosses' corpses for shield items and you'll make it out okay.

Also has a replay function which is nice

Nice bite-sized shmup by Pixel. I played this because I heard that ZeroRanger took a lot of cues from this and yeah around stage 3 you can really tell. Game runs into a temporary bit of gradius syndrome around stage 2 when it expects you to always have a back-firing weapon, but it gets fine after that. Really odd.
