Me encantó.

Delta Particles at once plays like a survival horror game and a traditional Half-Life shooter, and it excels at both. I was not sure what to expect when I started this mod but it completely took me off guard by being so good. Excellent game design, excellent environment design, everything about this game was so impressive. I really don't have any complaints.

Despite not hearing much about this, this was perhaps the first mod I was tempted to put as on par in quality with its base game. Unfortunately its fatal flaw reared its ugly head near the end, that being taking a mod with intentionally slower gameplay, down to the weapon switch animations, and giving it a group enemy encounter every 5 seconds. I pull out my glock like a geriatric but these enemies think I'm Gordon.

Has pretty fun combat encounters aided by the level design, like getting ambushed while you're on a ladder in a vent returning to a door you just activated the switch for. On the other hand the visual design of the facility isn't very scientific, just a lot of hallways, offices, trainyards and storage areas instead of coming across any other huge experiments and technology. The mod is near the length of the original half-life, definitely a bonus when it stays at a consistent quality. It uses a lot of alien controllers though, even starting from early on, though they're not that bad to deal with since for high power hitscan weapons you've got a magnum, desert eagle, and sniper rifle.
