First off: the base game is AWESOME. One of best tie-in fighting games, seriously. It reeks of love for one of the most influential manga series in Japan. I put 5 stars on the main most important versions of this awesome arcade tie-in, so if I scored lower I have my reasons for this and I'll explain:

What a waste of a HD remaster. Not only it's not avaiable anymore on PSN nor Xbox Live (removed it for license expiring matters, pretty sure of that) but it costed 20 bucks. For one of the easiest 12 trophy/achievements session (as easy as vanilla JoJo ASB, and pretty sure also ASB R), very limited modes (arcade, training...yeah, forget that awesome Super Story Mode from the PS1 version) and an online that left to be desired.

That HD filter was also a punch in the eyes.
But beside everything: it's still based on a good, fun and playable version, instead of the choppy PS1.

Excellent as a fighting game on a competitive scale, graphically its faithful and fluid, the moves will please fans and there's some fan service-y things Capcom threw in there to sweeten the pot.
Music is catchy and the story mode is blunt while messing characterization a little but its an arcade game and you're here for the game.
Online is excellent too
