It's a shitty fucking shame that they pulled the plug on this right when it started getting good but you know, Square Enix is Square Enix. C'est la vie. Miss you, Ephemer.
Did I made it? Even after having the most ridiculously powerful medals I barely managed to get towards the end of the Wreck-it Ralph world and kept dying and dying to a random final heartless (right after King Candy battle).
I really really fucking tried to reach the final boss and beat it. Would have been satisfying since I played this gacha since day one and kept dropping/occasionally returning at it.
But nope. It just started my passionate hate towards gachas in general.
Not to mention that if this game was supposed to make KH III more mindblowning at the end, well...it does half the job right since now anything left from here will be milked with KH IV, Missing Link and whatever the hell Nomura will come up with.
It was a mobile game. It was a gacha game. It was meant to be grindy, to waste your time, and try and encourage you to spend money.
Now all that being said, people do still love the story, and I must admit it was fun to see the world before the keyblade war and understand why it happened. In my opinion though, they still left a few holes that made me feel pretty lost, and like watching six hours of cutscenes on youtube might have been a BIT of a waste of time.
I do wish square would create a movie for it so at least we could have that and people wouldn't have to go download a dead app so they can view the cutscenes in a theater mode.
