Right so I've played this game for quite some time and it's a fairly enjoyable timesink. I've been told it's like puzzle quest, only you have multiple people on your team so you can choose who to take hits from and there are more tactics to it.

There is a pay-to-win strategy in that you can spend all your money to get tokens to buy powerful heroes (or villains) and have them on your team. The most powerful ones are the most expensive ones, obviously, with the biggest level cap. You can sell old cards you don't want as you have a limited roster of heroes to have and a limit of 3 in each battle.

Beyond that, if you've played puzzle quest or any matching game you've got the idea of the game play to get at least 3 in a row, but here different characters deal different damage. For example, my group has Storm, Hawkeye and Iron Man. Iron Man deals the most damage with red so when they're matched he attacks and is open to attacks. Black ones Storm is most powerful at so she ends up in the firing line. they all have abilities based on colours you collect so there's also the tactic of wanting a really powerful ability to activate, but you can't use it unless you have X amount of this coloured jewel. For example, Iron Man's best power is Ultra Feron Beam which, at the moment, requires 19 Blue. 19 is a huge number, but with it he deals a huge amount of damage (which one-shots most villains by the time I get the amount) and even if it doesn't defeat them, it stuns them for 1 turn. Some abilities are direct attacks, stuns, destroys tiles, transforms tiles so depending on who's in your group, you can string together a large amount of abilities and combos to win the game.

I only play this at a time sink for when I want to hear background commentary on a game or movie and it works well for that. Also every day if you win a combat you get given a special daily reward which can be anything from hero points (also attained in game) to hero cards. You also will want to re-play many battles as there are alternate rewards where you can have the chance to win 1 out of 4 choices, but only a chance which forces a grind, but a enjoyable grind.

A run of the mill tile matching game with Marvel slapped on it. The gameplay is plenty fun, however, you absolutely get punished if you are not willing to pay.

This one I used to play and drop, and then download again and play a few and then again drop, and after a couple of months the same old song.

Now, after a few years, I said hey, let's play a few games again, but it's so full of micro-transactions and ads about it that it became so frustrating and tedious to play.

when wolverine matched 4 yellows at Thanos i felt that

Jupp, es ist basically ein fancy candy crush mit wenig Story. Aber irgendwie war es dann doch super addicting und die das erweiterte Gameplay hat dann doch irgendwie Spaß gemacht. Guilty Pleasure, I guess.

Guess you can waste some time with this but there are much better Marvel mobile games out there.
