Moon Cresta is an arcade game released in 1980 by Nichibutsu. A moving starfield gives the impression of vertical scrolling, but the game is a fixed shooter in the vein of Namco's Galaxian. Incentive Software published a version of this arcade game for many 8-bit home computers of the time. Dempa also released a port of both Moon Cresta and Terra Cresta for the X68000. It was also released on the Wii Virtual Console in Japan on March 9, 2010 and PlayStation 4 (Arcade Archives) in 2014.

Somewhat similar to Galaxian with a few new ideas. The small lunar lander mini game doesn't do much, but giving you a stronger ship if you do worse or better is interesting. I think the asteroids/comets that fly directly at the center of the screen in the middle of the game are solely meant to eat quarters. Once you know to expect them, it's obviously not a big deal, but cheap shots like that are never fun.

Clone de Galaxian denovo, mas tem umas coisas legais até

To the dev's credit, they did show players mercy by making the game a bit easier the more times you die, while also rewarding you for doing well. Nice addition to what would normally be another generic space shooter

Music gave me Stendhal syndrome.
