This game is about as difficult as you want it to be. I'm mostly here for the interactions amongst the SNK characters though, love the attention to detail to properly make a character be treated as if they were in their respective game.
What should have been KOF Sky Stage from the beginning, you could say that it is a sequel but it is rather a perfection of that game. Now we have a slightly better story that gives rise to a new original character (which is none other than the pilot of Alpha Mission) and three more characters from other SNK games, and although stages and bosses from Sky Stage are also recycled Various new ones are added to create different game paths with different endings.
It also includes some game and gallery modes, and the Normal difficulty it's friendlier than Sky Stage for players who aren't as used to Bullet Hell.

honestly a pretty capable shmup from what I can discern. I am not sure precisely why it exists ngl. I haven't played too many shmups in all honesty, so not sure precisely how this stacks up towards the competition, but I had some fun with it.
