I don't even like sports, and I had a LOT of fun with this one. It's silly, and unbalanced, but if you're willing to put on your good-time hat then there's plenty to like about this arcade classic.

NFL Blitz is the perfect arcade football experience! Forget the rules, this is all about crazy tackles, insane scores, and just having an absolute blast. The graphics are blocky as heck, but the animation and sound effects are so over-the-top it just adds to the charm. It's easy to pick up, hard to master, and endlessly fun, especially playing with friends. If you want a pure, hilarious dose of football action, NFL Blitz is a classic!

There were multiple summers for me as a kid where we played quite a few arcade games. This was one I put quite a bit of money into. It made me like football when I could not have cared less.

I do not care about football. I ESPECIALLY did not care about football at age 8 or so when I would play the shit out of this. Therefore, this is by far the best football game of all time.
