A port of Pac-Man

This version of PAC-MAN was released to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the first game, in a partnership between Google and Bandai Namco. It was featured in Google's first page in May 21 and 22, 2010, but it is still playable in the game's its own page. Both Pac-man and Ms. Pac-man are playable (the latter appears by inserting another coin). The game was developed by Google's Marcin Wichary and Ryan Germick.

The ultimate way to bluff you are a hacker back in school. Behold as by simply googling "google pacman" your contemporaries hail you as cool during computer class!!

I don't think a logo was meant to work as a Pac-Man maze...

It's just Pac-man with one board resembling the word Google, and a neat easter egg of Ms. Pac-man joining you if you insert another coin. This could have been a pretty interesting multiplayer Pac-man game, but it's pretty obvious from the start that this was only meant to be a fun joke and nothing more. The game's AI gets harder as you go along, but the board itself just isn't designed well enough for casual players of Pac-man to go very far nor is this particular entertaining enough for older Pac-man lovers. It's neat to look at, and functional, but it's a joke first and foremost.

For the 30th anniversary of Pac-Man, Google did a little funny and actually incorporated Pac-Man into their search engine for a short period of time in collaboration with Namco. And it's a cutesy little thing that they did that just kinda remembers everyone why Doodles even exist and what their purpose in anything even means. Although, Pac-Man "professionals" such as myself can attest that the product placement-map sucks compared to the perfectly puzzled together original, too many parts to get stuck in and many long hallways where you can get trapped by the ghosts in both ways.

So it kinda rocks, and it kinda doesn't at the same time.
