An expanded game of Pokémon Ruby Version
Pokémon Emerald Version is a sister game to Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. Emerald Version provided the main storyline with more depth and length, as well as making small aesthetic changes to the world and adding unique animations for each Pokémon.

Absolute classic. Gen 3 has one of the best rosters of new pokemon for the entire series, and Hoenn is super fun to explore. Unfortunately still bogged down by some junk that wouldn't be polished off until the ds era, and a set of rivals that wasn't incredible especially compared to the previous generations. Still a grand old time if you want a classic pokemon experience.
My favorite Pokémon game, although nostalgia may be in play… I will need a replay to confirm.
