If the worst part of Re:Zero was a 20 hour game

In many ways, the directing is very lazy and rough, and the cutscene itself does not exist. I keep worrying about it because of the few illustrations. The story follows the flow of the existing Rezero volume 3 as it is, but there are a few new characters added and the story line is slightly twisted. Rather, it is a reset point. It's so first time (if you die, you go back to 9 days ago...) The more you progress, the more tired you feel.
+ There is a 3D adventure element that seems to have pricked your conscience for the quality that is too hard to fill with just a visual novel.. But if this has become a plus element...? Well.. a very bizarre and coarse lump of soybean clay waiting for you to wonder who this is. I... Still, I don't think it's a bad choice if you want to experience 3D modeling that goes back in time.
I'm a Rezero fan, so I had fun, but if you aren't a fan this game isn't for you

I want to find the person who thought it would be a good idea to adapt the worst part of the anime’s first season, stretch it out with tons of filler as if it couldn’t already be boring enough, flanderize the entire cast so Subaru is constantly horny for Emilia, Ram is always one step away from assaulting Subaru, etc. and then refuse to use Subaru’s “return from death” mechanic as a means of exploring different flowchart branches in a player-directed manner by railroading the entire thing. Just wanna talk.

"Will we see each other again?"
"Of course not, you're just a filler character."

As someone who's familiar with the anime and heard this was gonna be a retelling of arc 3 I was pretty intrigued. What-If scenarios tend to get pretty wacky but it's fun to see how much they stray from the source material if anything.

Well turns out they don't even do that here, it sets up a 6th candidate for the royal throne and an impostor to look out for, and if you've seen anything about the first season, you know exactly who the impostor is because the original characters are staring at you right on the box art, the only way you couldn't see this coming from the start was if you didn't watch the show (Which the game kind of expects you to) but even so it cuts off from the most interesting parts of arc 3 (The whale fight, I love Emilia, Beetlejuice) to tell a wannabe town of salem story with a few character interactions when it could have been a more acessible way to read the web novels or something original entirely.

The animations are pretty cool I guess but I wouldn't say they're worth the journey, let alone full price.
