Much like the original this is more of an atmosphere piece and graphical showcase than a really great game or a gripping story. It's fine, but it's not why you're there. It really is super sharp on Quest 3 and the game's peppered with some real 'oh, that looks cool' moments which I really appreciated. The story kind of meanders along but keeps you interested and interacting with the things that you can look at, and in an interesting contrast to Bonelab's almost militant level of doing things purely with physics it relies much more on moving a pointer over a thing to get a readout of what it says.

I do think it's worth a play through, but I will say that the addition of a gun and shooting segments was purely negative and just frustrating.

Best PSVR2 narrative game, the graphism are so incredible. It's a smart, narrative, mysterious puzzle game. PSVR2 deserves games like this.

Immediately when I booted Red Matter 2 up, I knew it was going to be something special. The control scheme is instantly intuitive and every facet of the game feels optimized to make the best VR experience possible.

It's also the most graphically impressive thing I've played on PSVR2. Stunning from start to finish.

In Red Matter 2, you're searching for a missing co-worker in an empty space station. It's a neat premise and the story itself is well done but it's nothing special. Lots of sci-fi tropes done relatively well. The gameplay to accompany this ultimately boils down to a series of first person escape rooms. But like almost everything else in this game, it's a simple thing done incredibly well. Tons of fun, intuitive puzzles, that feel just tricky enough to occasionally stump me, but easy enough to not frustrate me.

A must play on PSVR2.

a great improvement over the first game with better puzzles, graphics and overall gameplay however the combat sections really annoyed me with how bad your gun is and just having one crappy pistol, if it was not for these sections I would give this game a slightly higher rating

This is the perfect evolution of Red Matter: more complex puzzles, better graphics, longer, the story is still really well done. Kudos to the devs!
