This was one of my most played Wii games as a kid. The cast is a love letter to Sega fans. Freaking Billy hatcher, AiAi, and B.D Joe all make an appearance among a multitude of other obscure faces (by today's gaming market standard). It's a Mario kart clone, but it's a damn good one. The items are carbon copies, except for the special move, which would let typically the person in last place or a low place transform into a super form of a character and just BOOM down the track (EX: Shadow will turn Super Shadow). The arcade/tournament mode is standard and gets the job done. The battle mode was also especially great. Again, it's literally like take everything great about Mario Kart DS and slap Sega characters onto it. If it works it works and thankfully it did. Also, soundtrack is wonderful, the song "so much more than this," was one of the only songs I really liked as a kid. Lastly, gotta give props to the stage design as again, It's a present to Sega fans. Whether it was cousins coming over, my older sister wanted to play a game, or I was just bored; I could always rely on this game to make things lit. This is my personal GOTY for 2010, because for the entire time I had it on the Wii it got hella play.

Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing is a fun-filled kart racer packed with fan-favorite Sega characters and nostalgic tracks. The gameplay is fast, frenetic, and emphasizes drifting for boosts. While not as polished as its kart-racing king competitor, it offers a unique boost system, a diverse roster, and plenty of wacky Sega-themed courses to keep things interesting. If you're a fan of Sega classics and enjoy arcade-style racers, you'll have a blast.

this looks like a mcdonalds promotion

Peor que Mario Kart pero tenía su propia personalidad, la jugabilidad se sentía bastante diferente y le daba otro feeling al juego. Había muchos personajes que me resultaban interesantes y novedosos porque yo no conocía mucho de Sega.

Definitely would’ve been a better experience had I not played it on the Wii.
