Both the DS and Console version of this game are great, though for some reason DS is the only one that has the final bossfight in which you play as Super Sonic.
The writing is hit or miss but usually it's charming. It does kinda feel like a vacation episode though with how non-threatening Eggman is made out to be in this.

Childhood classic, i beat it twice i think and i keep going back to it, i love it to death. IM GONNA REACH FOR THE STARS.

Better than the console version in some ways, a little worse in others.

Gameplay wise, This is basically Sonic Rush 3, although the loss of the trick system bummed me out a little. Still a fun game.

Imagine Sonic Rush with the expanded moveset of Generations and the Wisps and exploration of Colours.

One of the best boost games. One of the best 2D Sonic games. One of the best games of all time

Sonic Rush 3 all things considered. This is easily sonics best title on the ds. While it may be short, its level design is just a blast to boost through with a kickass ost and tons of extra content to sink your toes in. The best version of Sonic Colors in my opinion.

Why did Dimps go this hard on the DS version of Sonic Colors to the point that not only do I find it better then the console version (which I only thought was just fine to begin with), I even consider it one of my favorite games in the series and one of my favorite DS games in general.
