Soulcalibur Legends is an ambitious attempt to bring the Soulcalibur experience to the Wii, focusing on action-adventure elements rather than pure fighting. While it has some interesting concepts, like exploring environments with classic characters, the execution falls short. The motion controls are often unresponsive, the level design is repetitive, and the story feels like a thin excuse for the action. Fans of the series might find some brief enjoyment, but ultimately Soulcalibur Legends fails to deliver a compelling or polished experience.

I like that Lloyd Irving is in it

Decent enough hack-and-slash for the Wii. The graphics, music, and controls are all pretty average but fun for what it is.

I got so excited when I got this game, I loved Soulcalbur 2 and 3, and this was going to be epic... but it wasn't. At all. The game is horrible and boring, there's no skill involved whatsoever, there's no 1 on 1 combat, there's not even combat as it was on the previous SC games, it's a bad and boring hack n slash that I forced myself to complete because I had the dumb illusion that I could unlock VS Mode after the Story Mode. There was no such Mode. I never smashed a cartridge, never broke a disk in half, but I did burn this one with a lighter.

A hack and slash spin off of a fighting game. Pretty repetitive but fun especially with multiplayer. I like that they chose a lore heavy segment of the story to base it on (Siegfried's journey of slowly turning into Nightmare).
