Kinda of torn between a 3.5/3 out of 5. The visuals are great and the sound design is good. But the gameplay is far to busy to seem fluent and play exactly what you want to do without extreme familiarity with its mechanics. The special moves seem strangely inaccurate and the hitboxes are questionable to say the least. Not surprised to see why a community never really formed around this one
I like these types of games. I would rather play Arkanoid but this is fine for a Gameboy launch title.
A game not polished amazingly, but the fast paced gameplay and fun movement make the game worth playing for any platforming fan. This game was designed to be speedran and its a blast playing through it as fast as possible as many sections of levels can by bypassed with clever movement. Great game
