Spider-Man: Web of Shadows is a video game title encompassing three versions: a full-3D action game for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360; a 2.5D sidescrolling beat em up action game for the PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 2 (called Amazing Allies Edition), and a 2.5D side-scrolling brawler/platformer for the Nintendo DS. Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, along with most other games published by Activision that had used the Marvel licence, was de-listed and removed from all digital storefronts on January 1, 2014.

no free roam after beating the game what a shame..
All I remember about this game is the rather inspired Wolverine boss fight where he pins you down several times to quiz you on actual Spider-Man trivia to see if you're the real Peter Parker. That's pretty good.
Actually I do remember one other thing: that one cutscene of Spider-Man walking sadly across a skyscraper rooftop in slow motion as tons of soldiers are fighting Symbiote creatures and dying. It gets paired up with the song from that similar moment in the anime Tokyo Ghoul a lot.

combat is pretty good, web swining is good, both with jank. story is ass, but i like the decision concept. symbiote bosses are cool desgins but most bosses suck. some missions requiere searching the city and kill x amount of enemies which is really lazy and boring. but hey, more combat i guess. also locking level progression behind colIectibles is stupid would recommend it but it takes a while before the combat gets good.
Underrated low budget (im guessing) but fun as hell spidey game. Story was whatever and it looked pretty crap at least by todays standards but the web slinging was pretty good and the combat was fun too, especially with the ability to change between friendly neighbourhood suit to symbiote suit on the fly.
