Good music. Cool characters. Whacky supers.

This game is a warm blanket on a cold winter night, a game that fills me with melancholy nostalgia remembering my older cousin who would never let me borrow this game. Yes it may be flawed, but it is so incredibly comforting.

Gotta say, this game gets a lot more flak than it deserves. The only major weakpoint is the visuals. A lot of character models look off, especially in the faces. The backgrounds can be pretty wonky, too. However, the animations are good and a lot of them look cool.

The mechanics are quite unique and really fun, and creates a very loose feeling with a ton of creativity it leaves to the player. The tag system is really dynamic, and is honestly more fun than a lot of other tag systems I've experienced. Arcade mode is quite unique and fun, the return of dramatic battle is a welcome surprise, and the customization is fun to mess around with. All in all, a very solid package.

For some reason a bunch of people say this game is bad but I think it has so much wack shit goin for it that you can't NOT play it. You can do 4-player tag battles bro! what fighting game has 4 player tag battles and is bad? none of them, that's what. The OST continues to go hard, the roster is a great size, and the gameplay feels good. The whole street fighter EX subseries kicks ass dude people are just mean to it for no reason.

Not necessarily a bad game but inferior to the previous EX titles. Roster size is good and recruiting characters to your team after beating them in arcade mode is cool, but the game's presentation overall needs a ton of work.
