A mod for Super Mario World

Super Mario World Redone is a hack that aims to create much nicer visuals for the original Super Mario World, while adding some new features, secrets and an all new encore mode! The game also includes new custom music and lots of bugfixes for the original game. As a bonus, there are four new levels for you to find, and they are very well hidden! Can you find them?

This analysis is more about the original Super Mario World, but I played its hack which gives some graphical improvements and new music, but anyway, I don't know if I've already reviewed the original game, because for those who don't know, I'm playing it and resetting all SNES games (except simulation games and Mortal Kombat for reasons), and here it is.

I don't have much to say about this game, everyone knows it and thinks it's perfect, which I don't think much of, but wait, I'll explain, like its gameplay, even though it's a little slippery, is still much better than other platform games from the same console that came later, the stages, although some are very simplistic (because it was one of the first SNES games) are still very interesting and with some challenges, especially the secret stages that you can access with keys, giving a feeling good exploration and the first time I discovered this I was shocked and enjoyed the game even more, but anyway, I think the only negative points I have with the game are that the boss battles are a repetition of the same koopaling doing the same thing just that "a little more difficult" and the last stages I find uninspired, giving a feeling that Miyamoto-San was already tired of developing the game and just wanted to eat his wife, and Yoshi, even though he's a cool addition, when you get the Too bad it becomes kind of useless, mainly because the feather is the most broken item in the game, like if there's a level with no roof, if you run and Mario has his arms open, you can jump and Mario "flies", which means This means you can pass these stages without any problem, the only problem with this is that you have to execute the flight correctly otherwise Mario will just fall to the ground and shake the stage.

And also doing 100% isn't really worth it (in reality I think that 90% of Nintendo games doing 100% is never worth it), but other than that, it's an almost perfect game, if only the last stages were a little more challenging without being unfair, perhaps it would be a little closer to perfection, but it is still an essential game for the console.
