There is another world apart from ours. A world that was once beautiful but now is a hostile place ruined by war and hate. A blood stained world... Humans have ignored the existence of this other world because their destinies have never been bound to it... But that is about to change since the king and creator of the other world has been murdered. His strength and will had disappeared as the time passed, turning him into and old and defenseless being. However, that didn't change the fact that within him the incredible power that allowed him to create that other world still existed. Because of that he was attacked by an entity called Final: A powerful creature that emerged from the infinite chaos that exists in the space between both worlds. In a single attack he ripped the king's heart and ran away with it to the depths of chaos. It is said that the one that succeeds at freeing the power within the heart will be given an extraordinary strength; a power that could end all that exists if it falls into the wrong hands.

glad he got to make an official version of this old mugen pack

The fact that this began life as a MUGEN game developed, drawn and composed by a single dude is nothing short of impressive. It's not the most complex or technical fighter and there's no netplay (right now at least) but it's worth experiencing just for how sick the setting and character designs are. The whole game has this gothic horror comic book style with some truly insane character concepts that a big budget fighting game would never think to do. You can play as an entire race of giant worm monsters; when you win a round a new one comes from offscreen and eats the one you're playing as to replace him, and even has a super that lets you swarm the screen with more of them. How fuckin cool is that? You could do so much worse for 10 bucks.

Charming and fun, nice soundtrack, nice story, cool characters and movesets (i fucking love playing Animus and i need them in another game PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE) and most importantly: 100% ARGENTINO CARAJO!

As rough as they are, I am fond of the Black Heart's offbeat, blatantly fetishistic designs and set pieces. They are cartoonish approximations of horror tropes that convey a passion for the mediums of both arcade fighting games and B-movies.

Te quiero mucho mucho Andrés borgi.
