The Prism

released on Sep 08, 2015

The Prism is a 2D puzzle platformer about two pixels, 02 and 03 lost inside a vast prison. Unlike a normal prison, this one is alive. It is called the Prism. Its eyes stare from a distance and watch its prisoners carefully, analyzing their actions and breathing down their necks. You will face many challenges but you don't have to do it alone. You can play by yourself or locally with a friend.

Escaping a prison (for pixels) has never been more pleasing and buggy to experience. Walk, jump and puzzle your way through different environments, each being pretty to look at while you're restarting the same level twenty times because you got stuck in a wall. A lot of different mechanics are introduced but thankfully kept separate as to not overload my brain.

Important to note is that this game is unpolished as hell - you will get stuck in walls, you will get stuck in boxes, you will dislike the terrible collision system and this game will arbitrarily ignore your inputs. It's still enjoyable 80% of the time and if you're okay with that, it's fully worth it to pay the pretty low price.
