Real sleeper hit here - I enjoyed spending tons of time getting enough money to customize my place exactly how I wanted it, and trying to make every person in town like me. Also the game that caused me to lose my first DS since I was playing it up until I had to run and catch a plane, leaving my DS outside my bag, and thus not with me as I boarded a flight home from a foreign country. RIP

When I first got my Nintendo DS as a kid, I had the choice between this and Super Mario 64 DS as my first game. In hindsight, I made a pretty bad call. While this game does provide The Sim's experience on the go, there were better options for this at the time and there are certainly better options out there nowadays.
What sealed my distaste for this were the forced touch controls. I hated having to use that thing to be everything, like cleaning bird poop. Not to mention the load times were atrocious. I wouldn't recommend playing this game.

this might be actually the most underrated game of all time
It bugged on me and I couldn't finish it but the game has way more to offer than what it looks like.
am i really one of the few people that got to experience cleaning bird shit off a window hundreds of times on the DS? loved this as a kid xD
