The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is a first-person action survival game that brings to life the authentic, heart-stopping horrors of the AMC hit TV series The Walking Dead. In the game, players assume the role of the mysterious, crossbow-wielding survivor Daryl Dixon, brought to life by TV series star Norman Reedus, alongside his overbearing brother Merle, voiced by Michael Rooker.

The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is a clunky first-person shooter set in the world of the beloved TV series. While its premise—playing as Daryl Dixon on a journey to Atlanta—holds potential, the game suffers from repetitive gameplay, poor graphics, and a general lack of polish. The emphasis on stealth and resource management could have been engaging, but awkward controls, frustrating AI, and a thin story ultimately make Survival Instinct a missed opportunity to deliver a compelling Walking Dead experience.
this xbox live arcade ass game is 4 hours long, plays like an unfinished dead island, is ugly as sin, glitchy and bullshit, has A-list celebrities phoning it in next to real voice actors, and is a total disregard of the quality of the first two seasons of the walkimg dead.
so naturally i had a blast with it.
