The X-Files is my favorite TV show of all time. This game comes the closest to ever making you feel like you are in an episode of the show. FMV games may not move the dial in this modern age, they were a staple of the 90s and this one in particular proved most immersive at a time when I was fully invested in the tale of Mulder and Scully and their endeavors to solve the unsolvable cases of The X-Files.

Very good Point a Click game
I love the X-Files and I picked this one up for cheap a few years ago. It has a lot of full motion video cutscense and it does have David Duchovney and Gillian Anderson but they are not the focus. You play as an original agent. Unfortunately the game isn't that great and it's story isn't worth it.
