The first THPS game I ever played, and the last one I fully completed. This was my favorite THPS out of all of them. I actually enjoyed the "Goals" system and really enjoyed the level designs. All those days I was home sick was spent playing this gem of a game.
This somehow ended up worse than the THPS 3 port. The controls are less responsive (reverts and manuals seem a lot more like a coinflip than they did in 3) despite being the exact same engine, the goals are generally shit, the level list is cut down and the ones that stayed were mangled into being unfun (or even more unfun in some cases), the new ones just kind of suck.
I owned this PS1 port of the game and I was confused that it had zero relevance to the guides online. If I remember the regular game was like almost open world but this one was still just regular arcade with ass draw distance. But god you gotta respect it.
Yeah the goals suck in this one but I'm amazed at how much better the framerate is than in the PS1 port of 3

A única coisa que eu faço nesse jogo todos esses anos é subir na torre, se equilibrar no fio que leva até o outro prédio, e cair no meio do caminho pra rir da cara do Tony. Literalmente era a coisa mais engraçada do mundo e eu amo que foi só isso que eu tirei dessa série
