It's weird that Codemasters ripped off their own series here and didn't just label it as another Micro Machines game, but both fans of MM and newcomers alike will enjoy this one.

it is fun, but is a lot funnier playing with friends
Fairly simple top down racing game. If you need a quick racing fix this is a solid go to that can be completed in under 4 hours. Well made and fun it's an easy recommend.
