Clever and funny Cold War satire. Entertaining gameplay, but there's not a whole lot of strategy involved.

"Presidente! Europeans are very angry at us for trying to break their most stinky cheese record!"

Any game that makes fun of french people is automatically great

I wish I played the later games in the series. They looked like largely the same so I never bothered, and that may be unfair. Having only played 3 before this, the campaign was just so much fun. I found 4 was the one with the scenarios that were just easy to love and pulled me in for many hours.

A rogue tsunami absolutely crippled my power network, and the USA took full advantage of this. Truer than real life. But at least my Presidente was dapper as all hell as crowds sent assassins after him.
