I feel like I should give it a 4.5 or maybe even a 5, but I haven't played it enough.
The world is so god damn beautiful and full of lore and everything, I really love it, but I honestly don't feel like pouring in a quadrillion hours of killing murlocs, which is what always ends up putting me off.

Speaking as objectively as possible, vanilla WoW leaves a lot to be desired. As a game it's clunky, confusing, and not particularly fun to play. But as an experience, well, you really just had to be there. There was nothing like WoW, and arguably there hasn't been anything like WoW since, and the memories and friendships I made in this game will likely stay with me for the rest of my life.
