Same game as the OG, I like both portrait versions the same but this feels more like a definitive version for me than PC release
I gave the original game on PSP a 10, I gave this a 9 because it's the same freaking game with new portraits. Maybe not worth your time if you already played the PSP/Windows version of Oath in Felghana.
Still was a fun re-play, especially with the crazy english patch that just drops the PSP files into a folder on the Switch.

Played this with the English patch. It's a decent remaster of the PSP version, but not without some issues; like the framerate dips (only in handheld mode) during some bosses or whenever double boost is activated in the middle of a group of enemies, and it's still arguably visually inferior to the 2005 PC version.
Other than that, it could be the best version of Felghana. I like the new "Refine" portraits; the new Elena cosplay art is a highlight, the artist really outdid themselves with that one. Being able to skip cutscenes is an amazing new addition that I didn't expect, and even the new turbo mode came in handy more than a few times.
As for the game itself, it's definitely still a top 5 Ys game, but some of the bosses being absolute garbage made me second guess that more than a few times during my playthrough. Do not play this game on Nightmare if you value your sanity.
