The Zombie Army games are a relic of the cottage industry that was Left 4 Dead Clones before we landed on the modern slate of household name co-op shooters. It made all the sense in the world to play in the early 2010s.
That is to say, it's a usually not terribly unique or interesting horde shooter that takes very directly from Left 4 Dead. It does do some interesting stuff with enemy types, but in my experience that interesting stuff is sandwiched between a lot of uninteresting "clear the area" style objectives.
It's not bad, but I don't really see why anyone would play it in 2024

Repetitive, but a lot of fun and a decent challenge (finished it solo/elite difficulty).
I haven't been able to play coop with my friends yet but i look forward to it, it seems like it would be super fun with more people.

I liked that there's no progression/perks/whatever and it's just you and the weapons as they come, i welcome that kind of simplicity now that every fucking game needs to have some sort of leveling or upgrading of some kind.

The gameplay is repetitive and story is pretty simple, but I've enjoyed the game for what it offers. Had a lot of fun trying the different snipers and just clearing the map off zombies.
There's also 16 different characters to choose from, 8 of them from the Left 4 Dead series. In my opinion the original survivors are fun in their own right even though they don't say anything.

Beat the game on 4 player co-op on Sniper Elite (Elite) difficulty. Truly Elite.

A very fun third-person shooter where you fight Nazi zombies during World War II.

As the title indicates, it is a trilogy, so you have 3 episodes to play. You can either play alone or with friends. Although it is still fun playing by yourself, I'd recommend you to play with more people! The co-op experience makes it better.

You can pick between 16 characters, including the ones from the first Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2! You can also pick your weapons and make your own builds, including which explosives you want to take.
