I thought this one was good, but had to stop playing one day because all of the sudden every match was super laggy for me.

I don't think it's better than Ultimate but it is trying to do its own thing. Also, it didn't have the shitty GSP system that crushed my spirit oh so much in Smash, so I actually had some fun playing online.

I know this game is a joke to everyone, but I am waiting for it to re-release so I can maybe give it another shot.
