(8.5) Eu já comentei sobre os três arcos q compõem essa fan disc (well, tecnicamente 4 pq o Hirukowashi tem duas versões)
So pra relembrar as notas q dei pra cada arco:
Saikoroshi: 10/10
As duas versões de Hirukowashi (prefiro a de console btw): 6/10
Batsukoishi: 3/10

Agora falando da coletânea num geral como uma unidade: Como dizem no all cast, a palavra "Rei" significa gratidão, é uma carta de agradecimento do Ryukishi07 por quem acompanhou essa jornada, e mais uma oportunidade para a gente passar tempo com esses personagens e essa vila.
E por mais q o último arco me deu um gosto amargo na boca (e caso tu queria ler após terminar o Kai, pode pular o Batsukoishi se quiser pq n tem problema), essa coletânea vale a pena PRA CARALHO. Principalmente pelo Saikoroshi como disse, é um dos ápices do autor, e só não é melhor que os três últimos do Kai. Melhora ainda mais o final da obra e a jornada da Rika q já são perfeitamente concluídas.
E vou admitir q o último all cast me deu uma emocionada, claramente essa fan disk já é uma transição pra Umineko e seria a última coisa de Higu naquela época, então dá pra ver muito o carinho q o Ryukishi tem pela obra e q todo mundo da equipe se divertiu fazendo.
Então é, não é um adeus, mas sim um até logo pra essa obra e personagens que mudaram a minha vida e q vou levar comigo pra sempre (isso sem considerar o texto q ainda vou fazer, só tenham calma q será gigantesco e botarei toda a minha vida como assim essa fan disk, demonstrar gratidão pelo Ryukishi), nunca vou esquecer o que essa peça de arte e autor fizeram por mim e o que me trouxe. Então agora finalmente poderei ir pra tão falada ilha de Rokkenjima, não tô preparado, mas também não consigo medir minha ansiedade, principalmente considerando q o Rei deixou bem claro que Umi é uma sequel temática de Higu

A collection of 3 separate short stories that follow the events of Higurashi proper(kind of)
The first is a genuinely strong follow up to Rika as a character, forcing her to confront her own sins which she is not made to do in the original. The inherent contradiction and selfishness of her choice is addressed her, in a fascinating way.
The second (I don't remember names sorry folks) is a short set up to daybreak, with Rena having swallowed a magic love device and getting wrapped up in the antics of Tomitake, Takano, and Ooishi. This is standard higu SOL hijinks you can expect, it's not great but overall pretty cute. The ending is very sweet and I'm a sucker for Rena and Keiichi's dynamics, what can I say! Features the best "Keiichi rants about game design" bit in the series, Mion is canonically fantastic at Touhou, good stuff here.
Third is just slop, it was cut from Chapter 5 (I believe) for being bad, and thrown in here as just an extra thing. Keiichi dreams about how he wants to sexually harass all the girls it's real bad all.
The fourth, and most unexplainable is the staff room where the 07th expansion team brainstorms on how to right umineko, deciding it should be a mix of rozen maiden, Otokojuku, touhou, and Dragonball, before descending into basically just Rozen Maiden fanfiction. Fucking insane, read this with a group (we did the whole series teehee) and had to play interpretor from the banks of my memory 4 years ago when they censored each name by removing half of it.
Overall, interesting experience. Good stuff here I can recommend outside of the third one lmao
