This was actually a breath of fresh air in comparison to the first one (thanks to @slibslime for the recommendation) - The combo system is great this time around, actually feels like a playable game in comparison and I love it weirdly. I want to say that it still has some issues, such as no command list for any characters, but this time around it feels more complete and feels more like a modern fighting game. I enjoyed playing it, but falls short.

I remember playing the demo a lot and renting it. It was a novelty at the time but it really wasn't that good. But I give it points for being able to play as Professor X in a fighting game.

Fun enough as a big fan of the X-Men. Kind of junk as a fighter - it has more depth than you may think at first but it's pretty clunky and not very well balanced. Magneto feels ripped out of MvC2 and is leagues stronger than anyone else on the cast. The secret character of Spider-Man being a direct tie-in to the old Neversoft game was a cool nostalgic easter egg.

Another PS1 fighting game that you play only to watch those CGI cutscenes at the end. It's not a bad game, it's just average. Good number of characters, and many different costumes to choose from. It's worth to check it out

I appreciate the QOL in gameplay but I'm not gonna bother going the extra mile to doing the unlocks the conventional way

Meu jogo favorito dos X-Men. Eu fico muito admirado de como esse jogo era tao avançado pra um jogo de PS1. Porra tinha treinamento de combo, agarrão com quadrado+xis, bons graficos, uma rica seleção de personagens e ainda personagens secretos. Que falta faz isso hj em dia
