This game is good at times but has lots of problems. Enemies (especially bosses) generally have lots of HP and get tedious to fight. Papercraft battles are clunky and boring. There's an infuriating boss rush right before the last boss that made me quite the game. The other M&L games are better.

Yeah this game is not that great. Still fun, with a ton of character, but Paper Mario makes the game pretty easy, and toad missions unnecessarily pad out the game. Unfortunately AlphaDream didn't get a chance to make a new installment in the series after this :(

Ughhhhhhhhh

Combat had oddly infuritating enemy patterns and insanely hard achievements you can lock yourself out of. Also is missing all of the charm of both Paper Mario and M&L leaving only the generic mario DNA, that does not work in an RPG.

Fight thrilling bosses like a Pokey... and the same Pokey but made of paper. And Bowser Jr! And Paper... Bowser Jr...

This game is just lacking the charm of the others. It sole savior is the OST, carried by Yoko Shimomura.

It's meh. It's not bad per say, but not good either. It's completely meh. If you have an itch for more Mario & Luigi, this is fine.

It's fine. I don't dislike Paper Mario's inclusion as much as I think most people do. What I did dislike was leaning so heavily on the Koopalings and having both regular & paper versions of just about every enemy AND having them almost always appear with each other. Talk about exhaustion.

Not as good as the previous M and L unforunately.

Great crossover, wish they did more with it though

While this game didn't have the amazing stories of its predecessor, it did made some quality of life improvements that makes it one the easiest Mario and Luigi games to get into. these include a button to fast-forward cutscenes, Skippable tutorials and a run button.

It's fine. All of the charm and soul is gone but the gameplay is still good outside of weird paper fetch quests.

just like sticker star, all the charm and soul of the previous games was stripped out and replaced with generic new super mario bros garbage and 10 million toad npcs, pretty ironic how everything paper mario touches goes to dogshit nowadays when it used to be so great, only thing keeping this game out of my least favorites is the fun battle system and music, besides that its beyond saving

Some good, some bad. Genuinely the definition of mid

The NEW Super Mario Brothers of the Mario & Luigi series.

aunque la historia es muy simplona, y esos combates raros de papel son muy aburridos, sigue siendo un buen mario y luigi, aunque pudo ser mejor

Disappointment. This idea is so cool, but everything in the game is just generic Mario. The enemies, the NPCs, the environment, everything is just so lame.

This game felt very bland and lackluster for M&L. It had it's moments, but it was very uninspired. Music was good at least.

Ah yes, the two RPG series based around Mario that Nintendo ruined.

mario crossover game, but the crossover is just more mario, wow

It gets boring and doesn't keep my attention.

Critical: 6/10
Personal: 3/10

It's a decent game, I'm not sure what else to say.

worse than ultra smash AND sticker star

This must be a Paper Mario game more than a Mario & Luigi game...Because it do be kinda mid.

It's a great idea, and having a third party member that grants Mario and Luigi crazy paper attacks is cool...But it's just more of the same...

I feel like up until Dream Team, each one of these games were trying different things, each idea better than the last, just to mix things up. But Dream Team was kinda just Bowser's Inside Story again but with Luigi instead of Bowser and not nearly as interesting.

Because of that, this one just feels like another Mario & Luigi game...Except Paper Mario is a party member now. The enemies are generic Mario enemies, same with the toads, locations, the story is as basic as it can get with Mario. It's almost like I'm playing one of the platformers.

They do try to mix things up with the giant paper character fights...I guess? But like...That's just the giant fights from BiS and DT but way worse and not even fun.

It just feels like modern Paper Mario levels of random bullshit they add that isn't even fun. Just because they want to make the game anything but a good traditional RPG.

It's not terrible, it's not even bad, it's just serviceable. There were parts I enjoyed about it...But I probably will never play it again, which is a shame considering this was the last original Mario & Luigi game we ever got.
