Had a hard time deciding if I would recommend or not this game. Although it is tremendously effective in scaring you (its very chilling and gave me shivers more than once) it falls flat one the ideia that it wants to be a full fleged sequel to The Eight Pages. When it comes down to it, Slender: The Arrival is a one trick pony that repeats ad nauseum the one and only guimick it has.
Very decent game that managed to accomplish what it wanted: to preserve the gameplay of the original Slender Man while still managing to set it as a mysterious, filled with riddles oddity within a more or less grounded story. A (spiritual?) sequel.
The original and ported level may definitely be easier than the original game but it's now fair gameplay-wise, and so are the new levels. You're definitely forced to have a map ready for the "In the Abyss" level, though. Some of those spawns are undair.
