While I feel this is good, and has good parts. The abysmal pacing ruins a lot of it + the meta stuff is really confusing. Hopefully the answer arcs are better

I have only play up until half of Chapter 2 but boy is it good

At first, every chapter is quite slow. That is until midnight strikes.
Every episode will be faster than the previous one due to no need to add context, but I don't think this is a bad thing
I'm glad they took the time to develop the characters in every episode, bit by bit, rather than everything in the first episode. I love how each episode has a hidden "topic" and focus.
Like in every WTC, there's a huge difference between question and answer arcs and they both have their own charms. Umineko is a bit less radically different, but still as great.
Be sure to play this while using the 07thmod for full voice acting. One of the best voice actings I've ever heard.

giving this more than two hours of a chance paid off SPECTACULARLY. a beautiful anti-reactionary story about never giving in to the easy answer, never stopping thinking, and never losing your kind spirit even when faced with your worst enemy.

This was peak fiction at points but mind numbing at others. I think the thing holding it back is its structure. Also sometimes it undercuts itself in ways that really don't feel great. But man, its highs are fucking high.

This is a story with one of the strongest female casts I've read so far. It think it has some pacing issues in the second half and specially in last episode which feels unnecessarily long. Still, it's a great mystery vn with really charismatic characters and a pretty unique format in my opinion.

Provavelmente não daria 5 estrelas se o capitulo 4 simplesmente não tivesse me ASSASSINADO. Algumas vezes ele é meio anticlimático, ou só chato, outras vezes ele mostra que tudo que foi chato e anticlimático era necessário para se criar algo bom, as vezes ele é até ridículo, e são as vezes que eu menos gosto dele, como trama de mistério, ele é incrível, como fantasia, ele é muito bom. Agora faltam as respostas, que eu posso ou não ter acertado enquanto lia o arco de perguntas, definitivamente a parte mais divertida é ficar teorizando.
