A fun short horror game.
with a mysterious story behind.

It makes me sad that most analog horror media is so generic and not scary, the story of this game just feels like every other analog horror story out there and it doesn't stand out in any way.

Cara a mesma mescla de jogos de terror, aonde parece ser um jogo simples mas tem algo "obscuro' na boa é sem graça não dar medo.

Seemingly based off of the Walten Files webseries. For a free demo I thought it was alright, but I feel like it should have been a video. It tries to impersonate a children's game but it's not really fun to play. The moments where it builds up to a scare are done pretty well and I admire the effort, but unless the gameplay drastically changes, I don't really know how this can be built upon in the future chapters.

I had several short joke I wanted to use but I can't chose which ones I wanna use so I'm just gonna use 3 of the best ones I could think of.

1: Why the hell would you make a game out of the worse episode of Walten Files?

2: When you order Walten Files from Wish.com but it gets lost in transit and this shows up at your door instead.

3: Who the hell ordered Walten Files with less swag?

This game, like the Catto Boi series, isn't a good successor to Imscared. It takes the revolutionary and melancholic way Imscared paints society and depression, distorting it into a creepypasta cringefest with no depth other than flashes of its backstory.

if Imscared was the Sweet Sweetbacks Badass Song of ergodic gaming, Andys Apple Farm is the Super Fly and Foxy Brown of the genre, in that Imscared was complex in its use of technological glitches and melancholy, and Andys Apple Farm seems hackneyed, cynical and for the lack of a better word, cringe, placing AAF into the rigid stereotypes of a cute-turned scary free itch.io game made with no creativity or originality.

Good horror game. No complaints!

this game just makes me feel kinda bad. like if i made fun of this it would be the equivalent of kicking a puppy or something

do you think matpat enjoys what he does. i dont know which is a sadder possibility: him doing those videos for half a decade cynically solely for money, or if this is earnestly his passion and he enjoys playing every generic trite horror game (except for hello neighbor)
