My dad got this game for himself and could never get past the second Dunkirk mission, then let me take the game. Playing it again now, I can say I'm better than my dad at flying a plane now. Anyways decent game, I weirdly like the voice acting. It is cheesy in good ways. The gameplay is solid with the worst part being when there is exactly one enemy fighter left.

Mid 6/10

Cringey voice acting aside, this is a pretty enjoyable game if you’re looking for a Arcady dog fighting experience.

This was my dad's game and while it seemed like the Wii would be a fun console for a dogfighting game, Blazing Angels just didn't cut it. The story and dialogue was okay if a bit dry, but the levels seems imbalanced. We never could figure out how to get past the desert photography level no matter how hard we tried. To this day I'm still confounded by that section.

There was a multiplayer versus mode here too but it also was pretty lackluster. It was a lot of swooping around each other trying to get on someone's tail but none of it felt all that fun. Maybe it's a better game on Xbox 360 but definitely skippable on Wii.

I fucking sucked at this game i dont even remember if it was this one or the sequel my dad gave it to me for my brother's birthday alongside la noire Odd pairing but a beautiful memory made nonetheless!

Dusty is a small-town plane who dreams of one day competing as a high-flying air racer. However, poor Dusty has two strikes against him: He's not built for racing, and he's terribly afraid of heights. To achieve his dream, Dusty turns to naval aviator Skipper. Skipper helps Dusty qualify to take on Ripslinger, the race circuit's defending champion. Dusty's courage faces the ultimate test, as he takes aim at heights he never dreamed were possible.

"Really fun but challenging with the inverted controls.
i liked experiencing WW2 from a different persective.
just wish the land targets were a bit easier to deal with"

Possibly the worst visuals of any game I've played given its year of release and platform, absolute dogshit
