Some of my earliest Game related memories are my familiy playing this. I think it's genius how he says "Gooooo~" right after the win jingle everytime and then one of the songs also uses that sample. Okay now that I think about it there is nothing really "genius" about it but it's still nice.

Nothing like some little brain power to refresh me before my next semester starts in a week and a half. I remember watching my mom play this and Tetris attack all the time when I was younger and would be getting ready for school in the morning. I sure do miss those classic days in the 90s. The little Dracula dude and the final boss were the biggest pains in the ass, but luckily you get a good bit of credits to finish. Great nostalgic OST and sound effects. This same very game/arcade cabinet was in this old Burger place my grandma used to take me and my brother to for milkshakes and we would also play it over there. Lots of memories with this one!

I don't have any friends....

But it's still a great game to play, even if my trajectory is sometimes a bit off at aiming the balls..

A classic arcade puzzle game. Is better than the original Puzzle Bobble in every way and checks all of the boxes to have a substantial package in terms of arcade puzzle games.

I played this game both on N64 and Playstation, but for this review, I'm going based on the Playstation version.

This game isn't that bad, but Woolen can go to hell. I don't know why they've made a sudden difficulty spike in the 3rd stage of the game no matter what difficulty you're on. I assume that it's because of how it teaches you to do more chanis instead of popping bubbles? I don't know, but jeesus, that's unfair.

Other than that though, spritework is good, soundtrack (for both versions) is wonderful, and the puzzle mode isn't that hard at all (for me at least). A fantastic improvement over the first one, for sure.

Genuinely adore this game. Have it on Steam Deck for rapid bubble action on the go.

This series is my favorite puzzler of all time. And this is an excellent, arcade perfect port on N64. Puzzle Bobble 4 wound up becoming my favorite in the series, overall, but this is an excellent game, and easily one of the best puzzle games on the console.

A near-perfect port of the 2nd arcade game on PS1. And since this is a near-perfect port, the problems from the arcade game also apply here too. Oh yeah, and the box art is horrendous and there's limited continues too.

holt shit the american box art...
