Shorter than Seasons, and a little bit less difficult. It was nice but nothing transcendent.
Really underwhelming compared to the rest of the series. Nothing really new in terms of lore and the puzzles are pretty boring.

The Lake is the second game in the Cube Escape series and seems more like a small follow-up to Seasons rather than a full event.
Once again, the game comes with a dark atmosphere that most seldom manage to reach. The gameplay of course involves a Point-and-Click puzzle system, though it's much easier in this game than in the first. A large focus on this one comes from the repetitive use of the fishing rod, which ended up removing the majority of actual logical thinking. I will say though the final lock is kind of interesting, besides that, I wish this utilized more of the concept explored in Seasons.
I do think the length makes this absolutely pale in comparison to the first game, so I would only recommend it if you're actually playing the whole series.

É estranho pensar que esse jogo é a sequência do Seasons. Um jogo bem menor, bem sem graça, bem mais fácil, aparentemente não adiciona nada à história em si. Bem ignorável.
