this game is actually sooo fun (but sooooooooo loooonggg), i've got so many good memories playing it and i'll eventually finish it (even if i'm 80 by the time i complete it)

Don't come into this game expecting it to be short, since this is like animal crossing but disney. I heard the second rendition of this game is longer....looking forward to playing that too. It took me quite a while to reach level 60/60 stickers but there is still a lot to do. You can farm, craft items like food and clothing, and go on dungeon quests. Id say for a game like magicians quest and animal crossing its ok but its just very long. There's a point in playing a game for so long where a person can start to feel burnt out especially if they are no longer interested. Its ok to stop this game entirely, and you wont miss anything even though its synced to irl time.

I did almost everything there was to do in the game and thought it was pretty fun. I mostly played with my café with friends and only played through the main story to get some of the costumes and other items. The best part about it is the plaza music because it's catchy, and it was part of the game I remembered the most. Also, the fact that I haven't played in a few years means I don't remember what I did in it, I had to recently replay it just to remember what I did besides the plaza and the costumes.

i really wanted to like this one but i got bored extremely fast.

Animal Crossing but better and worse at the same time

This game walked so Dreamlight Valley could run! There's a lot of fun little elements to this game but at the same time it can be a little too cutesy and "pretty princess" style even for me, despite loving sim games and Disney I'm not necessarily the intended demographic for this game.

This is Baby's First Management and Material Harvesting Sim and it's full of a bunch of different gameplay elements that were all done better in other games...BUT, when combined, it actually kinda works? This is a Rune Factory and a restaurant management sim with much lower stakes but it having a lower skill ceiling and lower risk means that it's much easier to come back to this game after a long absence without Mickey Mouse breaking your kneecaps because you didn't make his special Shining Star Waffle within the last three days. In making this for children, they accidentally made one of the more chilled out management games and I commend them for it.

Sure, it's a bit hard to recommend this game since the sequel exists and the sequel has a lot of QOL changes, but also this game honestly has the better dungeon crawling and it also contains the Pirates of the Caribbean DLC (that I ironically had to pirate since I missed the eShop cutoff date) where you see Jack Sparrow harassed by a mean-looking Mii in an eyepatch.

Regardless of what game you play though, you end up turning Rabbit's garden into a corporate farm for your restaurant and watch as the cuddly animals of the Hundred Acre Wood all start pitching in free labor for your growing enterprise. Capitalism at its finest.

Weirdly addictive. Fun dungeon crawler but also like Animal Crossing in a way hahaha. It's hard to explain but it was a good time.
