A solid hour was spent figuring out how to run a pc-8001 game. then another spent on how to actually play this game without any Japanese knowledge. basically the game picks up romaji input and turns it into kana. so you can just type something like "Dame da" and it would work.
Emmy is socially stunted. she takes 20 seconds respond back to any comment you make about her, will parrot whatever she doesn't understand from you and gets spiced up from simple compliments. but she makes up with how cute she is. So all the effort was worth it in the end
I should say that i don't know how to speak Japanese in the first place and still pulled it off.
