Evolution Worlds merges two games from Sting's Evolution series of 3D crawlers (originally released for Sega's Dreamcast), containing both randomly-generated and handcrafted dungeons with skill points/learning, SP and mastery features. But the sluggish, basic row-based combat, the overlong scenes and a number of QoL oversights (from camera speed to a lack of fast-forwarding in hallways) further slows down its already lengthy trials, and the result ends up testing one's attention span instead of their resolve. Several hub add-ons & creative battle animations can't save gameplay that - in general, feels amateurish and repetitive-to-boredom.

A turn-based RPG Dungeon crawler with some decent story but a bit of a slog to get through. The story is basically three stories shoved together with little tying them together. The game play is solid, but takes forever. just the slowest of Turn-based. Its okay, not a terrible game, but not one i'd ever want to play again.

pretty outdated now but still a hidden gem in my opinion. cutscenes have unique dialogue depending on who you have in your party!!! so that's fun!!!

One of the few dungeon crawlers I have experience with and it's pretty cute, I made it very close to the end but just couldn't get the motivation to see it through.
