The best in the series, the upgrade to the 2010 WC engine and the fact Ultimate Team wasn't the behemoth it has become elavates it above all the other games which are near identical.
i have played every fifa after this and they are all horrible cashgrabs with worse gameplay

Back when ultimate team wasn't an out of control beast
It was an ok game with a very strong marketing with the 'We are eleven' messaging. Ultimate team started getting out of control in this game.
