I've spent hundreds of hours on this game in a tiny online community. To me, the single player is really only a tutorial for the surprisingly skill-intensive combat and movement system.

I’ve played this game so many many many hours over and over again, even if my pc back then was barely able to run it.
It’s been decades since I last played it, but I remember this being a pioneering game in many ways. I’d love to get back to it for a more thorough review and to check on how the game aged :D

Space is fucking cool

THE absolute best space game that stands the test of time so insanely well that its insane outside of Everspace 2 no other space game even attempts to follow in this game's footsteps. Probably why they're all just not good.
