Of the three King’s Quests I’ve beaten, this is far and away my favorite.
Very colorful, well animated (for the time), and just as funny as ever.
It’s hard to go wrong with any King’s Quest, to be fair.

It does look like an actual playable cartoon, but the sometimes janky puzzles and the overall difficulty - in Sierra games, unlike in LucasArts games, you can actually die and game over - make it a bit annoying to play especially nowadays.

I like the part where Rosella was like EWWWWWW when she was in the troll town like chill out girl

The game felt very simplistic compared to KQ5 and KQ6. Also, the more animated style just didn't do it for me at all.
