PUTA JOGO DE DETETIVE FODA
SENSACIONAL TODA A MECÂNICA DE INTERROGATÓRIO

Replayed this for the first time in years, excellent story telling and groundbreaking tech for the time. Performances are off the charts good from the main cast. Loads of fun.

I know that this is a very good game, but I found myself losing interest around the halfway point. Fun time while I did play it though

DEDEKTİFLİĞİ İLİĞİME İŞLEDİ

L.A. Noire'yi duymayan yoktur.

Tavsiye eder miyim? Oynamamanız kabahat.

Truly fun and I wholeheartedly loved that they mapped this game according to maps of Los Angeles of the era.

Funny facial expresions go :/

I like 1950's detective theme quite a lot so I'm quite byased.

L.A. Noire is a fascinating game to me. Its so unique in both its method of storytelling and gameplay style. The investigation aspect of this game is head and shoulders above anything else I have played. Its unlike anything. It is also a game that features a lead protagonist that is not a perfect man. He is a good, honorable cop/detective, but his past in the war and the choices he makes regarding his romantic life is questionable. It eats at him, though he tries his best to hide it.

I loved my time with this, I would love for Rockstar to give us another game in this universe. They could give us a sequel set in more modern times, which would give them all sorts of new investigations to give us in a more modern, technological world. Just think of the easter eggs and callbacks to this game Rockstar could hide in it.

Anyways, L.A. Noire is great. I'm so glad that I finally got to play it. Highly, recommend.

This game is just fun.
Pure and simple.
The cases are real, the cops are not…this is…LA NOIRE!
Seriously, did you know the cases are all real? They went through newspaper archives to dig up facts about cases to put in the game.
I think that’s pretty neat.

I really liked the detective aspect of the game. It's a shame more games don't do that sort of thing. It was also such a nostalgia trip driving around in as many different cars as they had in 1947 Los Angeles. It's such a cool and detailed world. Great music too. The characters are all three dimensional and interesting, and the acting is all really great.

You like fucking little boys Valdez?

Super slow, and there's no ability to skip cutscenes WHY??

Aborde L.A.

bought this back when it came out for the ps3 and got up to homicide before gradually losing grip on it as usually happens when i get really into a game for a hot minute. decided to come back to it last summer though and was immensely rewarded for that. while at times it is still incredibly frustrating due to the early tech being somewhat hard to read, and the updated button prompts during investigation still being somewhat obtuse as to what cole is actually going to say, once you get lost in it there’s very few experiences like it. the game creates such a richly detailed portrayal of the noir film genre, at times really playing like the game version of something like sunset boulevard, double indemnity, or the maltese falcon. as a film girl myself was such a wonder to see the lovingly recreated intolerance set and bombing down hollywood boulevard in these classic cars, hearing the jazzy score that feels ripped straight from the 1940s, it’s a remarkable vibe even if the world itself is maybe a little less developed than one would expect from rockstar.

what really pushes this over the edge and makes it a near masterpiece (other than the very novel detective work gameplay loop) is it’s characters and story. i don’t want to go too in depth as this is obviously a game that rests upon its mystery, but if you’ve seen noir films from the time period you’ll know somewhat what to expect. bad people committing heinous acts only to be stopped by slightly less bad people working for a corrupt system. it’s a game fundamentally about the loss of america’s innocence (if it even had one in the first place) after the second world war, tons of broken men coming back to a country completely different from the one they left, struggling to survive in a world just as harsh as the war zones they just left. it’s also got a ton of other ideas floating around, like the manipulation of the mental health industry, the corruption of institutions meant to protect the people, the systemic racism perpetrated by those institutions, and all framed by cole himself, a character that though being played by the player, has an interior life completely unknown to us, parcelled out piecemeal over the course of the game but for me remaining as mysterious as a cold case

Inherently silly game. Terrible story, with little to no sense of logic, beats forced in that don't really fit with the characters its crafted. Cole Phelps voice "goodbye"

this game was really fun. this is kind of like baby's first GTA, and i'm glad i played it.
oh and ofc facial animation at its finest! hahaha

Enjoyable the first time and the setting is definitely the highlight, but Jesus Christ please let us skip cutscenes Rockstar. Also the ending was pretty disappointing

One of the best games to ever come out of Rockstar. It may have an open world but it refuses to commit to the open world trappings of the era, focusing entirely on the good shit - the interrogations, the voice work, the investigations, the facial animation, the car/on foot chases. I think it loses a bit of steam by the end but it’s still no doubt an incredible game.

There is fun to be had interviewing folks and messing around driving, but the logic behing the questioning is poor, there is no way to skip cutscenes you have seen already, and not all sections work super well. Is fun to play together though.

I've got mixed feelings on this game. There's a lot of tedium to it, having to scour the area to make sure you don't miss a hint leads to you picking up a bunch of useless items most of the time and that's not ideal. There's...far too much uncomfortable content for my tastes, don't think we need an unapologetic pedophile once every three cases, for example. And at no point in the game do they ever develop Cole Phelps in a way that makes me care about him at all. Some of the cases are also very unforgiving with expecting perfection or else you're locked out of the correct ending.

But I had fun driving and seeing all the crashes I cause and how my partner yells at me for it. Shootouts are satisfying to win. The story and how it slowly unravels as you go is interesting.

I like some parts of it and don't like others.

“You fuck young boys Valdez?”
“ARE YOU A MADMAN?! THIS WILL CAUSE AN INTERNATIONAL INCIDENT!”

Must play for puzzle/investigation fans. Facial recognition was ground breaking for the time. Let down by ending.

good fucking lord dude. jack kelso my hero

what if we came up with a really cool video game concept and then did nothing else to make the game interesting?

An amazing game, one of the 3 games tied for first. Love it to death, but it's gonna take a while for me to play it again.

Story is very good and its overall one of the better detective games I've played. The open world is a bit of a missed opportunity and the cases stop being nearly as interesting halfway through the Vice desk.
