This game is a sequel of a game that was supposed to be a port of Paradroid. That port ended up keeping most of Paradroid's gameplay and added an isometric view which carries over to this. I think it works better than the top-down view of the original Paradroid, and the added visual fidelity here combined with the core gameplay makes it an improvement over both older titles.
