Game is hard like John Goodman after thanksgiving day. There is no last boss in the game, thats strange
If you haven't played RE2 yet, play this first. If you want an improved experience, there's a mod that gives you a lot of saves to go through (yes, there's limited saves and no, it doesn't mesh well with other design choices).
Aside from that and other issues, this is such a landmark in PC horror for me now, when it hits it really HITS. I'd love to find more games like it.

Interesting game and concept, but I got very bored with it.
yeah idk how the fuck people ever played this game before we had readily available guides on forums that didnt take 3 hours to load but even with those guides this game plays horrendously and is endlessly confusing. doesnt help that your "map" is completely worthless and even if it wasnt its rendered in fucking 144p it'd still be completely unintelligible. i might come back to this at some point but i feel more frustration than fear. sayonara, martian gothic.
i need to finish this at some point. what i played was really interesting and felt like a horror version of Myst/Resident Evil.
