If this was me 2 years ago back when I first tried the game, I would've loved it. But putting this aside for a year and a half, and coming back to it has left me disappointed.
To put it shortly the game's horde mode became much easier.
Tried to do some ranking 1v1 and noticed a lack of players, not the game's fault, but it's definitely not a positive.
Mordhau, although loved before became a game not for me as the experience usually leaves me frustrated with some of its toxic players coming off as entitled.
It's not a bad game, just disappointing as of now.

It's ok, kinda just boils down to throwing stuff at your friends and button mashing unless you want to be the guy who gets super technical and honorable and joins servers just to 1v1 and roleplay a la grandpa's medieval war recreation meetups. It feels like a game where you have to fully immerse yourself and get really deep in the mechanics for a few dozen hours to start having fun, and I'm not motivated to do that
